- Understanding of the Homemade Explosive (HME) and Improvised Explosive Device (IED) threat
- Understanding of other threat items (guns & knives)
- Awareness of the most common threat concealment scenarios
- Image Interpretation techniques
- Understanding the correct operational techniques for hand wand detectors
- Understanding of Walk through metal detectors
- How to make use of the various management and analysis tools provided to the Trainers by our 'Centralized Management System'
Product and Services
- Checkpoint Training Kit - This kit was designed for the facilities that required training tools to incorporate with their existing training program. The kit consists of the Modular IED Training Kit, Introduction to X-Ray Screening DVD, Introduction to Metal Detectors and (10) ten Student Guides.
- Modular IED Training Kit - This was designed for the US Marshals Service. The US Marshals have incorporated this kit into the federal courthouse security training. It consist of four detonators assembles and inert x-ray explosive simulants.
- Introduction to X-Ray Screening - This a 30 minute DVD which covers: How an x-ray machine works and why; basic image processing, threat categories, IED and introduction to image interpretation.
- Introduction to Hand wand and walk through metal detectors - Is a DVD that provides the student with an understanding of how these systems work, what kind of threats they will find, and how to operate the detectors correctly.
- Student Training Guides - The Student Guide is a workbook for the "Introduction to X-Ray Screening" and "Introduction to Hand Wand & Walk through Metal Detectors" DVDs.
- I-Screen X-Ray Image Interpretation - The I-Screen is a simulated screener training computer base tool for training screener how to indentify threat and prohibited items.
- Consulting Services - These services include: Threat and Vulnerability Analysis; Checkpoint Design; Equipment Needs Analysis; Threat & Countermeasure determination; and Systems Audits.
