Laboratory Support
GST can provide chemist, physicist, engineers and other technical personnel to support missions at governmental research and development laboratories. GST currently is the prime contract to DHS supporting the Transportation Security Laboratory. Since 1992, GST's technical staff has provided technical services to the research and development programs in Aviation Security. GST's staff supports the development, test and evaluation of bulk and trace explosive detection systems. Also GST scientist has developed simulants of various commercial, military and homemade explosives for DHS and other governmental agencies. These explosive simulants are safe inert material and when examined by an explosive detection systems mimic the properties of the real explosive.
