name
There was a scammer using GST’s
address and website to add credibility to a
bogus work-at-home Data Entry / Administrative
Representative “at $20/HR on CraigsList.
Names they were using were Mrs. Lynn
Carter, Asst. Personnel Manager, and Claude
Flair. They get you to do a bogus “interview”
by Yahoo messenger –
thereby capturing more
info.
The trick is that “as a Test of Trust” they send
you a big check. You are supposed to
cash it, buy your equipment, then send the large
remainder via Western Union to their agent.
They hope you will do this
quickly – before their bogus check bounces and
you find out your account is liable for the
entire amount of the check.
