About GST

Global Systems Technologies (GST) was founded in 1987 by Achintya Bhattacharjee. GST's initial contract work contributed to the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) - National Airspace Modernization program. GST's contract with the FAA included Test & Evaluation (T&E) of all new systems entering the Air Traffic Control Modernization program.

GST is an Information Technology (IT) and systems engineering firm with over 20 year history of providing exceptional services to government and commercial customers. GST has rapidly matured into a highly competitive and responsible firm with strong management and financial resources. GST has demonstrated outstanding capabilities in several disciplines that include providing program management and technical support services to government agencies and commercial customers. Customer list includes Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Aviation Administration,  US Navy, US Air Force, Department of Energy (DoE), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the City of Philadelphia, State of Wisconsin, Merrill Lynch, Allied Signal, Lockheed Martin, Bear Sterns, Sun Microsystems, Adelphia Business Solutions, KLA Tencor, AEGON, New Market International Inc., Dow Jones and Kestrel Solutions.

GST, a recognized leader in Aviation Security, has supported the DHS - Transportation Security R&D Laboratory at the W.J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City, NJ for over eighteen years. GST is a prime contractor supporting the testing and certifying new technology for explosive trace detection in passenger and cargo screening. GST also manufactures threat-recognition training & testing materials for DHS and other governmental agencies.

GST expanded its Security Engineering Services to support the "Homeland Security Presidential Directive 19 - "Combating Terrorist Use of Explosive in the United States". GST services are targeted to the security checkpoints at the workplace, public buildings, sport venues and public utilities. GST services include; Threat & Vulnerability Analysis, Screening Training, Equipment Needs Analysis and Threat Countermeasures Determination.

Since 1996, GST has supported the Headquarters Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). NAVAIR provides Metrology support to NAVAIR, other Systems Commands, Type Commanders, Aircraft Controlling Custodians and other DoD activities worldwide. The Metrology Automated System for Uniform Recall and Reporting (MEASURE) Automated Information System (AIS) is used by the Metrology Program in direct support of the Fleet calibration program. Under the direction and guidance of the NAVAIR, the MEASURE Program is supported by two MEASURE Operational Control Centers (MOCCs) located in San Diego and Norfolk. GST manages both MOCCs.

Currently GST supports the MADAR workstations for the US Air Force C-5 Galaxy aircraft. The MADAR (Malfunction Detection Analysis and Recording) is a mission critical system that records and analyzes information and detects malfunctions in more than 800 test points on the aircraft. GST procures legacy parts or modifies commercial off the shelf (COTS) parts for the MADAR workstations. GST test, diagnose, repair and certifies the MADAR workstations for use on the C-5 aircraft.
